Yu Chen graduated from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine and obtained his Florida acupuncture license after successfully passing the NCCAOM board examinations.
During his studies, he received the Academic Excellence Award and graduated Cum Laude, recognizing his outstanding academic and clinical achievements.

During his clinical internship, Yu Chen treated more than three hundred patients and received excellent feedback for his results and compassionate care. He is well-trained in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) techniques such as acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, and moxibustion, and also possesses a strong foundation in Western medical theory.

Guided by the principle of “virtue and compassion in healing,” Yu Chen is dedicated to helping patients achieve physical and emotional wellness through personalized treatment plans. His clinical expertise includes pain management, sports injuries, neck, shoulder, back, and leg pain, as well as stress-related and emotional disorders.

Beyond his clinical practice, Yu Chen actively participates in community health programs and serves as a committed member of the Florida Acupuncture Association, promoting education and public awareness of traditional Chinese medicine.

Lei Dong, A.P., Dipl.O.M.

Lei Dong is a Florida-licensed acupuncture physician and a nationally certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), with a strong focus on pain management. He holds a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine and has received advanced training in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na (Chinese medical massage), cupping, and moxibustion.

Lei specializes in treating chronic and acute pain conditions, including neck, shoulder, back, and leg pain, as well as sports-related injuries such as golfer’s elbow and tennis elbow. His expertise in Tui Na therapy plays a vital role in addressing long-standing muscle tension and joint pain, offering patients natural and effective relief.

With a compassionate and holistic approach, Lei is dedicated to restoring comfort, mobility, and balance for each of his patients.

Robert Gilman, DACM, A.P.,

Dr. Robert Gilman earned his Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine, and his Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine degrees from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA, and holds additional certifications in Japanese Meridian Therapy, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, and is a certified Reiki Master. Dr. Gilman discovered acupuncture following a back injury that ended his career as an airline pilot. He was so impressed with the relief he felt after just one treatment, he was compelled to learn this medicine and to share it with others. Dr. Gilman practices a style of acupuncture called Japanese Meridian Therapy as taught by Japanese Masters, Shudo Denmei, Ikeda Sensei, and Kiko Matsumoto, which focuses on putting the body in balance, allowing one’s own natural healing ability to thrive. Dr. Gilman is a nationally certified Acupuncture Physician through NCCAOM, and is licensed to practice acupuncture in the State of Florida. Dr. Gilman is currently serving as the Clinic Director at FCIM, in addition to teaching TCM foundational courses.

Sunnie Rhodes is a Licensed Acupuncturist who combines traditional healing wisdom with modern psychology to provide unique and comprehensive care. As a fourth-generation physician, she has a deep family history of Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners. Sunnie’s background in Psychology further informs her holistic approach, allowing her to integrate mind and body in treating the whole person. Specializing in acupuncture, Sunnie draws on her understanding of psychological principles to address a wide range of conditions, from stress-related disorders to women’s reproductive health, all with a compassionate, patient-centered focus.

Sunnie holds a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine, a Bachelor of Science in Professional Health Studies, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and is nationally certified in Oriental Medicine. She is also certified in Acupoint Injection Therapy and facial rejuvenation acupuncture.

Khanhmei Wong, A.P., Dipl.O.M.

Dr. Wong’s path to healing began with her own diagnosis of osteoporosis at a young age. She experienced firsthand the daily toll of chronic pain and the frustration of searching for lasting relief. That personal journey, combined with her global medical mission work serving underserved communities, revealed a powerful truth: Real healing takes both access and care that fits each individual. This realization led her to the transformative world of Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture.

Blending compassion with clinical excellence, Dr. Wong has dedicated her career to creating a space where patients feel personally and genuinely cared for. Her extensive training includes a Bachelor of Science at the University of Washington, a Doctorate from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, and surgical residencies at Boston VA Medical Center and MetroWest Medical Center. She later earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, along with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Health Studies. She is board-certified as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine through the NCCAOM and as a Diplomate of Podiatric Medicine through the ABPM.

What sets Dr. Wong apart is her unique ability to bridge Eastern and Western medicine. With over two decades of experience as a podiatric physician/surgeon and more than four years of advanced training in acupuncture and herbal medicine. “Instead of just treating symptoms, Dr. Wong looks for what’s driving the symptoms..  

At the heart of her practice is a deep belief: when the mind, body, and spirit are in harmony, true healing can occur. Drawing on her own recovery from osteoporosis and her patients' recoveries, Dr. Wong has developed personalized strategies to support digestion, restore energy, and enhance overall vitality through herbal medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle changes. Dr. Xiaowen Zhu is a Licensed Acupuncture Physician and nationally certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine specializing in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na therapy, and integrative Traditional Chinese Medicine. With extensive academic and clinical training in both China and the United States, Dr. Zhu combines classical Chinese medicine with a modern, patient-centered approach to provide individualized and comprehensive care.

Dr. Zhu completed a six-year English-language medical program in Acupuncture and Tui Na at Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, earned her Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the University of Bridgeport, and received her Doctorate in Acupuncture with Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization from Pacific College of Health and Science.

She is experienced in treating a wide range of conditions through acupuncture, customized herbal formulas, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, cosmetic acupuncture, and manual therapy techniques. Her clinical interests include pain management, orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, women’s health, stress-related disorders, digestive health, and facial rejuvenation acupuncture.
